What is enrola?
enrola is apprenticeship recruitment software for UK training providers and colleges. It manages vacancies, applications, employer relationships and the move to enrolment.
How much does enrola cost?
enrola costs £120 per user per month, excluding VAT.
How do we get started?
Book a demo. enrola has no self-service sign-up; the enrola team sets up your organisation, and your Admins can import your records from CSV files.
Do connected services cost extra?
Most connections use your organisation’s own account with that service, such as your Learning Records Service (LRS) credentials or BKSB account.
Product
Does enrola post to Find an apprenticeship?
Yes. enrola posts apprenticeship vacancies through the Department for Education’s Recruitment API, and applicants apply on your enrola form. Changes and closures after posting are made in the apprenticeship service, the government’s account for employers and providers.
Can we post to several job boards at once?
Yes. Posting Control posts an Opportunity to each board you choose.
Can our website show our vacancies?
Yes, through the Website iFrame, or the enrola API, which lists live Opportunities without a token.
Does enrola check applicants against the Learning Records Service?
Yes, when your organisation has LRS credentials. enrola looks up each new applicant’s Unique Learner Number (ULN) and past qualifications, and your staff confirm each match.
Can we change the recruitment process?
Yes. You design a workflow for each Opportunity type, and each status can take an action, such as sending an email or booking an interview.
Does enrola produce an ILR?
No. enrola does not produce an Individualised Learner Record (ILR) file. Learner data is exported to CSV for your MIS.
Does enrola sync with Outlook or Google Calendar?
No. Interviews are managed in enrola and confirmed by email.
Can enrola send bulk text messages?
No. enrola sends text messages only with request-more-info links.
Can one person work for several organisations?
Yes. One login can belong to several organisations, with a switcher between them. Users have one of four roles: Read Only, User, Admin or Team Owner.
Data and security
Where is our data stored?
enrola is hosted in the EU (Ireland).
Who is the data controller?
Your organisation is the controller of applicant and learner data; enrola acts as its processor.
Can we get our data out?
Yes. Every main list can be exported to CSV with the columns you choose.
Can enrola delete old Applications automatically?
Yes, if an Admin turns it on under Settings → Data retention. Archived Applications are then deleted from 3 months to 6 years after archiving, as the Admin chooses.
Can we undo an import?
Yes, for 7 days. An Admin undoes it from Settings → Imports, and enrola keeps any record changed since or linked to other records.
What happens to deleted records?
They are kept for 3 months, during which the enrola team can restore them, and are then removed permanently.
Does enrola ask for a code at sign-in?
Yes. From 27 October 2026, signing in needs a six-digit code sent by email as well as your password. If the email does not arrive, you can use one of your recovery codes instead.
Does enrola email passwords?
No. Users choose a password through a link that expires.
Applicants and employers
Do employers need an enrola login?
No. Employers use links sent by email to review applicant profiles, send feedback and confirm interviews.
Can we choose what employers see in a profile?
Yes. You choose which fields an applicant profile shows to employers.
I applied for an apprenticeship through enrola. Who do I contact?
