These changes reached enrola on 29 October 2026.
Talent Pool
- The Talent Pool has its own filters, including the sector and apprenticeship standard of the vacancy each person came from. Admins choose them under Settings → Search filters. See applicant tracking.
- You can email up to 500 selected people in the Talent Pool at once. Each email ends with a line inviting them to reply if they would rather not hear about other roles.
- When a vacancy closes, applicants who agreed to be considered for other roles can move to the Talent Pool, and the rest are archived. This is now the first choice when you close one vacancy or many.
Vacancies and employers
- Each Opportunity has its own Contact, chosen from its Employer’s contacts. “Add new contact…” adds one without leaving the page. See Opportunities.
- When you share or send profiles, you choose the recipient from the Employer’s contacts, with the vacancy’s Contact chosen first.
- A Contact who has left can be marked as left. Their history is kept, and they no longer appear when you choose who to email.
- Deals also show as a list with columns you choose, and Employers, Contacts and Opportunities each have a Deals panel. See employer CRM.
- Admins and Team Owners can delete many Opportunities or Contacts at once. Opportunities with Applications or live adverts, and Contacts with open activities, are left in place.
Emails
- Closing many vacancies at once can email their applicants, each in the wording set for its Opportunity type.
- If the mail service rejects an email to an applicant or Contact, or the address is not valid, their record says so until the address is changed. The Applications list can be filtered by it. See emails, forms and surveys.
- A merge field can have a fallback, such as “there” for a missing first name, and a web address can be inserted as a link.
Imports and settings
- Each imported record shows the import that added or updated it, and lists can be narrowed to one import. See moving to enrola.
- Settings → Imports lists every import. For 7 days, an Admin can undo one; records changed since, or linked to other records, are kept.
- Renamed built-in fields now also show in list columns, filters, Posting Control errors and the Personalise picker, and imports match a CSV column with the new name. Until now, the new name showed on records, forms, applicant profiles and their PDFs. See settings and branding.
- Admins and Team Owners can hide a field from a panel. Its saved answers are kept, and Show brings it back.
